It really concerned me because I've owned some of the phone based headsets(mainly ColorCross and VR ONE) and I had a similar issue with them, but eventually the scratches did become an issue in that case(in fact the CC was ruined by said scratches). It seems like this is to be expected and I should just do everything I can to minimize it. Hair gets trapped in between them and my ear, and a lot of times I don't immediately realize until I start noticing one side is louder than the other lol.Īnyway, I appreciate the responses. The other place my hair becomes a problem is the headphones. That seems like the most reasonable idea. Going head-to-head with M30S++, this Bitmain ASIC miner offers 29.5 J/TH efficiency. I think maybe though an idea would be to use like a hair clip to hold my bangs back on top of my head so that they don't get in the way like that. Top 7 Bitcoin Mining Machines 1.) So there is a lot of hair to "avoid" - however my hair is probably my favorite thing about the way I look and I get lots of compliments on it. With that in mind, let’s take a look at which ASIC miner has the optimal balance. My bangs are at nose length(as in the tip of my nose) lol. I have a way that I try to put it on that avoids my hair, but it doesn't work completely. As I've said before I'm pretty poor financially and I had to save for a year to even afford my Rift. If that is the case, how could I avoid it? Or any other ideas? I thought about maybe using a can of compressed air to blow any suspicious particles away from the lens before cleaning them, but that wouldn't take care of particles on the cloth.īut yeah, this thing is my baby. I've cleaned them probably 10 times in that time period.Īny ideas why the cloth is doing this? I've read before that small particles on the lens cloth or lens can cause this but I don't see any. That's all I've done, and I've only had my Rift 3 days. I clean the lenses by breathing on them lightly and then using the included black lens cloth. But my bangs especially brush past the lenses when I put the headset on and leave smudges on the lenses. I have long curly hair and it's quite difficult to even get it on without hair in the way of everything. The reason is when I put on the Rift, my hair is a major problem. I do have to clean the lenses fairly often. I don't want that to happen, which is why I'm making this post. BUT over time they will add up and eventually hit a point where they do affect it. The scratches aren't bad enough currently to affect the image in any way. These scratches weren't there when I received it(I checked it of course) and I've ONLY used the included lens cloth on them, so it has to have come from that. So today I was examining my Rift lenses to make sure they weren't dirty and I noticed some very minor scratches on them.
